Miramax Plans to Adapt 'The Holdovers' into a TV Series or Limited Series

According to the latest report from Variety, Miramax is planning to adapt several of its hit films into TV series or limited series, and one of them is the 2023 Oscar - nominated film The Holdovers that was released in theaters in late 2023.

As the adaptation of this film is still in the early development stage, there are not many details available yet. However, Jonathan Glickman, the head of Miramax, hopes that the film's director, Alexander Payne, will be involved in the production of the TV series1. His reason is simple: "You have to make a connection between the adaptation and the original work. This will give the project legitimacy and make it look less like it's just about making money."
